Stags return to the top

Tampines Rovers return to the top of the table after defeating Beijing Gouan (S) 4-0 at the Tampines Stadium

Winger Jamil Ali open the scoring after just 10 minutes before Aliff Shafaein added a second 5 minutes after halftime.

After that, it was 'Bully' Duric turn to get his goals as he bagged a brace in a 6 minutes spell to take his tally to 9 for the season

The 39-year-old is now 5 goals away from getting his 300 domestic goals and strangely enough, or not, I believe he may get it before Indra get his 200 as Duric is getting his supply of goals from the bottom half teams who are 'generously' contributing 8 of them this season while Indra is starting to see his goals 'dry' up.

As for Duric sole goal against a top half team had a bit (OK, a lot) of luck as former Warriors teammate Shahril Jantan had let a harmless shot go under his body for that goal so it tell us how much the football gods are looking after Duric.

Tampines Rovers
Hassan Sunny (GK), Seiji Kaneko, Benoit Croissant,
(Edward Tan) Zulkarnaen Zainal (C), Akihiro Nakamura, Zahid Ahmad, (Park Yo Seb) Aliff Shafaein, Shukor Zailan, (Jufri Taha) Ismadi Mukhtar, Aleksandar Duric, Jamil Ali
