Home continue their march

Home United continue their march to the 2011 S-league title by defeating Woodlands Wellington 2-1.

Masrezwan Masturi, who started his S-league career with the Rams back in 1999, and Frederic Mendy got the goals for the Protectors. Goh Swee Swee got the consolation goal for the Rams.

Tampines Rovers kept up the pressure by crushing CYL 4-1 and then defeating Geylang United 2-0 in the Eastern Derby.

In the matchup against the Cubs, Ismadi Mukhtar, Imran Sahib, Jamil Ali and Aleksandar Duric got the goals while in the matchup in the Eastern Derby Ismadi Mukhtar and Aleksandar Duric got the goals.

Safuwan Baharudin got the goals for the Cubs.

The Warriors also refused to give up as they defeated CYL 3-0.

Ivan Jerkovic (2) and Farzul Nawaz got the goals.

As for Albirex Niigata (S), their slim hopes of the 2011 crown was gone after they failed to beat Hougang United with the Cheetahs holding them to a 1-1 draw.

Shotaro Ihata got the opener but veteran  Noor Ali cancelled it out.
