The 2012 Charity Shield will be known as Great Eastern Charity Shield with the league main sponsor opting to sponsor this event as well.
The match-up will pin last season champions Tampines Rovers against last season Singapore Cup champions Home United.
It will be held at Jalan Besar Stadium on February 5.
Proceeds and donations raised in conjunction with this match
will go towards our adopted charity under the Great Eastern ChildrenCare
programme which will benefit the less privileged children from MINDS
Fernvale Gardens School.”
