According to Singapore Press Holdings Straits Times, SAFFC are looking at former Japanese international Kazuyuki Toda.
The defensive midfielder have European experience as he played for English side Tottenhman Hotsupr and Dutch team ADO Den Haag.
Other than that, he was also in the Japanese squad for the 2002 World Cup Finals.
If the 34-year-old joined, he will not be lonely as SAFFC already have two other Japanese imports, Shimpei Sakurada and Tatsuro Inui, as well as Croatian import Mislav Karoglan on their books.
