'Assistant' Lee Home fall 1-2 to Cubs

If anybody doubt Home United season is not yet over then this defeat to the Young Lions at Jalan Besar more or less seal it.

Under the leadership of 'Assistant' Lee, Home is 'enjoying' a season of 'assistant' results like the one against Young Lions.

They can take the lead as when Choi Chul Woo score early for the Protectors and then gave it away with Hafiz Abu Sujad and Shahfiq Ghani scoring for the Cubs.

It is such results that tell us what an 'assistant' Paul Lee is.

So maybe, after the Singapore Cup, in two week time, against Young Lions again, Home United management will then finally decide it is best to rebuild early for next season.

After all, if they had spend last season rebuilding early, then they may not have hire 'Assistant' Lee as at this point, anybody is looking better than him - even Vincent Subramaniam.

This Assistant Lee is already hiring all his countrymen to replace those South American flairs. I doubt HUFC will fire him anytime soon.

From the grapevine or rather not, I was told Vincent S decided not to take up the job after some "requests" were not acceded...So in come coach Paul Lee from Korea.

I would say Lee came into the picture at the most unfortunate time when he was shoo-in from nowhere into a totally alien environment and expect to work wonders from a scratch.

Known to be tough disciplinarian and one who emphasis on players' fitness over flair, it's not wonder some element in the club were shown the door..
