DPMM are back in the S-league.
The Bruneian club had their stay in the S-league disrupted in 2009 due to a ban by FIFA on any football activates in the state and they were unable to join S-league the next season as well as the ban was not lifted.
With the ban now lifted, Brunei DPMM has re-joined the S-league
The official signing ceremony was held at the Singapore
Sports School on 10 January 2012, witnessed by His Royal Highness,
Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, The Crown Prince and Senior Minister at
the Prime Minister’s Office, who is in Singapore on an official visit.
DPMM will be the 14th and final team that
will compete in the 2012 Great Eastern-YEO’S S.League.
