Home strike force is gone

After assembling what was surely the strike force of last season as all the 3 forwards - Frederic Mendy, Qiu Li and Shotaro Ihata - were among their team top two scorers in 2011, it is all gone now.

Mendy was the only forward Home wish to retain but the 22-year-old heart was set on Europe.

As for Qiu Li and Shotaro Ihata, the club have decided there was better options.

Qiu Li once again had to fight with fitness problem throughout the season while Shotaro Ihata lost form as the season progress despite a good start.

Midfielder Shi Jia Yi also did not have his contract renewed.
