It seem the defeat to India U23 did not just cost Singapore a place in the last 16, it also cost Singapore to lose Hariss Harun for the upcoming Suzuki Cup.
The 20-year-old midfielder was injured in the game against India U23 and had to be taken off at half-time.
Now, it had been confirmed the injury is worse than expected and the player will be out for at least 6 weeks meaning he cannot participate in the Suzuki Cup.
This is the second time in a row Hariss Harun have failed to make it to the Suzuki Cup as he was also missing for the 2008 edition after an injury in the game against the Super Reds prior to the competition.
It is a blow to Raddy who was quoted by Straits Times as saying the midfielder was the best player of his generation and was in good form.
