The Courts Young Lions have been allowed to pull out of the Singapore Cup this year due to a packed schedule.
This is due to the fact the Singapore U23 side have committed to the AFF U23 championship in Indonesia in July which will take up to 2 weeks.
As the majority of the Singapore U23 side are make up from the Courts Young Lions, it has been decided the clash of schedule will make it impossible for the boys to have enough rest in between games.
It will of course lead to fears of increased chances of injuries occurring and this will have an impact on the U23 side.
This is especially important as the boys have a major assignment at the end of the year - SEA Games.
