Tampines reach last 16

Tampines Rovers have reached the knockout stage after defeating Maldivian side Victory SC 4-0 at Jalan Besar.

Goal machine Aleksandar Duric scored a brace with both Ahmad Latiff and Shahdan Sulaiman contributing as well.

While the battle for the knockout stage is over, top place, which give the winner home advantage in the round of 16 which is one leg, is still up for grab and Tampines should be temped to do well in Thailand.

Tampines Rovers will have to win in Thailand to top the group as Thai champions Muang Thong United have a better goal difference.
