Tanjong Pagar United head coach Patrick Vallee was upset that he wasn’t able to give the home fans their first win of the season.
“Everything went wrong,” the Frenchman said with a smile as he stepped into the press room at the Queenstown Stadium.
“Sometimes you can do your best and things will still not turn in your fortune,” he added.
Tanjong Pagar dropped three points at home but Vallee was adamant that he was not losing sight of his objective.
“I never said that I was aiming to win the league title," he added.
“The 3-0 loss is a bad result but Tanjong Pagar is a new team with new ambitions."
Besides suggesting that his side was slightly underprivileged at the
back without Anthony Aymard, Vallee ended the press conference with his
most disappointing outcome of the night.
“I am very disappointed that I couldn’t give the fans their first home win.”
