Tampines Rovers pull clear 7 points of the pack as they beat Hougang United 3-2 and they still have a game in hand as the destiny of the championship looked to be well in their hands.
In a show of the championship form, Liam Shotton had given the Cheetahs a shock lead but by half time with goals from Shaiful Esah and Khairul Amri they were ahead.
Igor Cerina level thing up in the second period but leaders and champions Tampines refused to settle for a point and with 8 minutes to go, a Kunihiro Yamashita goal saw them grabbed all 3 points.
And that is how championship are won.
In other games, DPMM Brunei beat Geylang International 1-0 and Warriors FC drew 0-0 with Courts Young Lions
