Tanjong Pagar United reach their first RHB Singapore Cup semis in 12 years as they defeated Philippines side Loyola Meralco Sparks 5-4 overall.
In the first leg, the Jaguars took a slim lead as they won 2-1 with goals from Zerka Monsef and Benahmed Ismael. James Younghusband scored for Sparks.
In the second leg, Sparks briefly got back on level term as their Korean import Park Min Ho scored in the first half but the Jaguars took back the overall lead early in the second period through Benahmed Ismael and then open up the lead further through Hafiz Nor.
Ramdani Kamel will score Jaguars fifth goal with 15 minutes to go to end all questions on the night
But there was still some anxiety moments as another of Spark Korean import Jang Jowon and Chad Gould had pulled the score level on 3-3 on the night in the dying moments.
