After days of guessing who will be the Warriors released to accommodate Goran Surbara, and with rumors flying around it was Taisuke Akiyoshi who had suffered a long-term injury, there was surprise at the end when it was reveal it was UK defender Daniel Hammond.
It seem Taisuke Akiyoshi injury was not as serious as previously believed and he can played a part in the second half of the season thus the Warriors are keeping him.
With that option out, the Warriors believed Daniel Hammond is surplus to requirement as Daniel Bennett and Bah Mamadou have formed a partnership in the centre of defence and the UK defender chances have been rare in recent months.
Thus it may not come as a surprise in the end that it was the 28-year-old defender.
