Stags and Home remain unbeaten

In one of the most exciting match of the season, Tampines Rovers and Home United played to a 1-1 draw at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

The Stags had dominated much of the first period and deserved to go into the half-time break with the lead given to them by Aleksandar Duric when the 40-year-old was given all the space in the world to put the ball into the net from a cross by Aliff.

In the second period, the Protectors played much better and had a few chances to draw level which they did after Frederic Mendy pound on a mistake by Hassan Sunny.

The Frenchman outjumped the Singapore international from a cross from the right from Shi and headed it into an empty net.

After that, both continue to have their chances but both keepers were in top form  and kept their team in the game.

The draw keep Home United top of the table with Tampines second

In other development, the White Swans showed they were contenders for the title of 'champions of the rest' aka fifth place by beating Geylang United 3-1 at Jurong East.

Norihiro Kawakami, Musashi Okuyama and Tatsuro Inui scored for the White Swans with Hafiz Rahim replying for the Eagles.

As for other matches, Tanjong Pagar United held Courts Young Lions to a 0-0 draw at their opening match at their 'new' home at Clementi Stadium while the home side Woodlands Wellington had at least something to celebrate with their first goal of the season, from Nigel Vanu, but it was in vain as champions, Etoile FC, came back to win it 2-1.

Maxime Belouet and Kaabi Selim scored for the French side.
