Former Home United player John Wilkinson have hit out at Paul Lee in an interview with SPH TNP as he claimed he want to come clean on the issue that saw him leave Home.
The former international noted back in July 20, 2012, he was asked to leave a training session, the day after he allegedly make comments about Paul Lee tactics.
Later he was intrusted via text messages by a club staff not to return to training and to stay home.
The club official claimed they wanted to investigate the matter first and it was only two months latter that he was told to return back to training.
The 31-year-old was 'surprised' he was to be fined S$400 for not training with the Prime League team during that period.
Despite having the text message as evidence to prove he was not told to do so, the midfielder pay the fine as he wanted the matter to end.
He said: "There have been several false comments made about me..... and I'm disappointed that Home allowed me to be abused that way by a person in authority."
Wilkinson also rubbished the notion his clash with Lee was because of culture.
He said: "This is not the first Asian coach I've worked with and I haven't had issues with those I worked with in the past."
