Former Stags skipper Aliff Shaffein has finally passed his Beep Test at his eighths try.
The 28-year-old admitted he was disappointed it has taken so long and after five try, he was thinking of giving up but his family persuaded him to go on as he has already given so much since coming out of jail.
So he decided to go on and now he has passed, he wished to thank chairman Teo Hock Seng, who still gave him a contract when he was in trouble due to drunk driving last year.
He will make his S-league debut against Albirex Niigata (S), if selected.
