Big teams march on

Member of the Big 3, SAFFC and Tampines Rovers, marches on in the S-league as they defeated Sengkang Punggol and Beijing Gouan (S) respectively.

Sengkang Punggol went down to SAFFC 1-3 at Hougang while Beijing Gouan (S) went down 1-2 at Yishun.

Old Dolphin boy, Indra Sahdan, was one of the Warriors scorer along with Japanese midfielder Taisuke Akiyoshi, who notched two, while the Dolphin got their through an own goal.

For the Yishun game, Beijing was the one who took the lead through Tan Tiancheng but Tampines Rovers showed their membership of the Big 3 are not for show as they staged a second comeback through international Qiu Li and Khairul Amri.

In another match, a night earlier, Albirex Niigata (S) drew 0-0 with Gombak United.
