Preview of S-league

Last week Preview - Got three right with 1 perfect score and four wrong

Woodlands Wellington vs Home United
If Mr Paul Lee cannot lead his team to win his one, then anything he say will be ignored as his head will be virtually on the chopping board. Even a draw will be a failure against a team unable to score in their last 3 league games and without a decent keeper. 3-0 to Home

Tampines Rovers vs Etoile FC
The game of the Week and a tough one with both teams in-form. Both teams can score and played attractive football so I will say it will be a thrilling draw much like Etoile game against the Protectors. 3-3 then.

Balestier Khalsa vs Beijing Gouan (S)
The Tigers will be faniced a few week eariler but now it must be the Chinese side. They have been transformed recently and are scoring as well. As for the Tigers, as noted in the Preview last week, it depend on Rivaldo and the fact he was an unused substitute against the Cubs showed the coach want to 'rest' him longer and he should be fine against the Chinese team but who know when his injury will strike again. That why one should go with the Chinese side. 2-1 to Beijing

Gombak United vs Young Lions
The Bulls won against the Champions last week but let be brutally honest and say it was the Champions who lost it. The Bulls still lacked the sting in their attack and while the Cubs cannot be said to be free-scoring, they are at least finding the net. That why I say 2-1 to the Cubs.

Home United vs Sengkang Punggol
If Paul Lee passed Test 1, he still must passed Test 2 and that the week he find himself in. Like Woodlands, he must win and anything else will be harshly judged. Poor thing? Not really for if he want an easy coaching job then he should go join the team he is facing on that night. The pressure is different and even a small defeat against Home will be looked at more kindly than a big win for the Protectors. That why it will show if his team is behind him as they looked to save their season. 3-1 to home United.

SAFFC vs Albirex Niigata (S)
A easy one. The winner will be the one in the sky-blue shirt. That it. Afterall, the White Swans are having a tough season and finding it hard to score and stop conceding. SAFFC are scoring in the league and still has a mean defence so the result should never be in doubt. 4-0 to the Champions
