S-league Preview

Last week Preview - Got two right and three wrong with SAFFC vs Albirex Niigata (S) not yet decided

Etoile FC vs Geylang United
The Eagles are having a Jekyll and Hyde season. One point good and then as suddenly one point bad. It is tough to depend on such a side especially when their No 1 keeper Yazid Yasin may not be playing. They can certainly shocked Etoile FC with Dr Jekyll turning up and as their recent performances in the AFC Cup are Dr Jekyll, one can hope it is so and Mr Hyde has not turn up yet. 2-2 draw

Beijing Gouan (S) vs Gombak United
A resurgent Bulls will go up against the Chinese team and one should believed the Bulls are back. The results are coming and while not as good as previous years, they can defeat the Chinese team on their night and it looked like their night at this moment. 3-1 to the raging Bulls

Woodlands Wellington vs Tampines Rovers
An easy one. It will be the one in yellow that walk away with all 3 points. The Rams have no chance even on their best form and right now they are not at their best so what chance do they have. 3-0 to Tampines

Sengkang Punggol vs Albirex Niigata (S)
At this point, the White Swans are going through a tough period of building and every team must be looking at their fixture list and hoping to meet them now. The Japanese are a pale shadow of the previous years and a mere 2 points from a possible 15 reflect that. The Dolphins will be delighted they are next in line to meet the Japanese side now. 3-1 to Sengkang Punggol.

Geylang United vs Home United
The start of the real test for Home United as their next 6 opponents will have 4 teams from the top half of last season. Geylang United Dr Jekyll may still be around and if Home United continue to perform like their season thus far then the Eagles will be flying high on the night. This may well be the case. 3-2 to Geylang

Etoile FC vs Balestier Khalsa
Etoile FC will be confident of winning this match but it may not be easy as the Tigers have a good backline and upfront Rivaldo will be playing. As long as the Brazilian is playing, the Tigers have a chance but it is still a long shot. The French should edge this one but by no more than a goal. 2-1 to Etoile
