Cubs reach semi-final

Despite being undermanned, with suspensions and injuries hitting the Young Lions, the Cubs reach the RHB Singapore Cup semi-final as they defeated Albirex Niigata (S) 1-0 overall.

The Cubs had won the first leg at Jalan Besar with a goal from Hafiz Abu Sujad before going to Jurong East and holding out against the White Swans.

They will now meet Tampines Rovers in the semi-final.
