Warriors tighten grip on fourth

SAFFC looked set to win the race for fourth place as they defeated Woodlands Wellington 1-0 to pull five point clear of their challengers - Gombak United and Geylang United.

Uruguayan forward Federico Martinez scored the winner.
The Bulls were unable to keep pace as they were held to a 1-1 draw with the Young Lions, two day earlier.
 
Fabian Tan had scored for the Bulls with Luka Savic scoring for the Cubs.

Albirex Niigata (S) defeated Beijing Gouan (S) 3-1 in another match in the week.

Tatsuro Inui notched a brace with Keisuke Matsui scoring in-between for the White Swans. Li Tixiang got the Chinese side only goal.

Two other matches - Etoile FC vs Young Lions and Balestier Khalsa vs Geylang United - have been moved to the weekend due to the Haze situation which reached unhealthy level on Thursday .
