Dolphins and White Swans draw to end their losing streak

Sengkang Punggol and Albirex Niigata (S) play to a 1-1 draw to end their losing streak.

The White Swans had lost their last 6 while the Dolphins were just a little better losing their last 5 so I guess this was an acceptable result to both teams.

However, the White Swans will be the more disappointed team as they played better but showed why they are a bottom 3 side as they lacked the finishing touch and their defence lack focus at times.

Unless they solved those problem they cannot hope to climb up the table as their goal came courtesy of a penalty from Tatsuro Inui while they could have defend better against Mamadou Diallo goal.

In the previous night, Champions SAFFC once again fell at the Cubs Den with the Young Lions defeating them 1-0.

The Cubs are now undefeated in 8 matches in all competition since the start of May and at the Cubs Den, they have been undefeated since April 22 when now bottom-dweller Sengkang Punggol won there.

Defender Afiq Yunos score the winning goal to give the Cubs the game and third spot in the league.
