In an interview with the Media, Home United new head coach Lee Lim-Saeng promised to bring a new brand of attacking football to the S-League.
He said: “I don’t know the S-League, but I know modern football, and we will play an attacking brand of modern football.”
Lee’s plan will see an emphasis on keeping possession of the ball, while putting pressure on the opponents and closing the distance between the defence, midfield and attack.
Home chairman Koh Siong Ling support his new head coach : “In friendly games, we are no longer relying on the long ball, showing more fluid passing, and in fact I hear people commenting that we can string more than 10 passes together.
“That gives us great confidence that the team are in the right hands and moving in the right direction.
As the same time, all the club new signings in the off-season were introduced, they are Korean Choi Chul Woo, Canadian Sherif El-Masri, Chilean Nelson San Martin and former Lions Ashrin Shariff and Shariff Samat.
