Woodlands get third Wooden Spoon in a row

Woodlands Wellington have got their 3rd Wooden Spoon in a row and it is a record even if they do not want it.

Before Woodlands run of Wooden Spoon  'wins', Balestier was the last club to get it.

The Toa Poyah club along with Marine Castle had shared with Woodlands Wellington the 'honour' of two straight Wooden Spoon win before this year.

This 'win' also mean Woodlands Wellington have the most Wooden Spoon as they have four now having got it in 2001 as well.
