Woodlands Wellington have signed custodian Yazid Yasin and midfielder Atsushi Shimono for the upcoming season .
Yazid Yasin have been released by a Geylang management looking to renew their squad and the Rams was quick to secure the services of a player who have total of 124 appearances for the Rams before leaving for the Eagles in 2008.
As for Atsushi Shimono, he has been in the S-league for the past four season with Albirex Niigata (S) and in that time, has helped Albirex to win the League Cup in 2011 and finished third last season with his accomplished vision and distribution of the ball lending a touch of class to the midfield.
That was why he was a popular target when Albirex decided it was time to let him go with Woodlands have to tussled with Tanjong Pagar to get him.
