Tampines and Warriors face exit

Both Warriors FC and Tampines Rovers are looking at the exit door in the AFC Cup.

With the Warriors suffering their 3rd defeat after going down 0-3 at Churchill Brothers in India, they are more or less out even if it is mathematically possible to get into the knockout stage.

But first they have to do something that have not done in the AFC Cup which is win and considering how badly they are doing in the league as well it is asking for the sky.

As for Tampines Rovers, they also fall behind the top 2 in the group as they suffered their second defeat in 3 games after losing 4-2 to East Bengal.

Sead Hadzibulic and Khairul Amri scored for the Stags but a defence which has leaked 6 goals in the past 2 games continued to leak another 4 goals in this game.

They are now 6 points behind the top 2 and need a win against East Bengal next week.
