Home reach last 4 with ease

Home United reached the RHB Singapore Cup semis with ease as they dispatched Geylang International 5-2 overall.

In the first leg, the Protectors took a commanding position after beating Geylang International 2-0 with goals from Hafiz Rahim and Firdaus Idros.

In the second leg, Home further improved on it as Ismail Yunos added to it close-range strike and despite the Eagles pulling 1 back from Stefan Milojevic, the hosts will go on to reclaim that commanding their lead again just a minute later when Firdaus Idros fired home a cross from Masrezwan Masturi.

Indra Sahdan Daud then ended all thought of a comeback as he struck another for Home early in the second half to end the contest, although the Eagles managed another consolation effort 19 minutes from time when Jozef Kaplan netted with an emphatic strike.
