Singapore coach Bernd Stange has indicated he will call up Home United defender Serina Camara if he was willing to accept Singapore citizenship.
The 22-year-old has played in the S-league in the last 3 years and according to FIFA regulations, a player must reside 5 years in a country before he can represent it.
Stange said: "He needs a Singapore passport.....I cannot speak about that.
"But he would play tomorrow if he was available. As long as he's ready and wants to stay, he'll join us.
"He will be 28 when the 2019 Asian Cup arrives, the prefect age.
Camara arrived in Singapore when he joined the now-defunct Etoile FC in 2011 before joining Courts Young Lions last season.
He joined Home United at the start of the season and is 1 of their standout player thus far.
