Axtraline have tweeted Tampines Rovers marquee player is Martin Wagner.
The midfielder, currently with Argentinian second division side Defensa y
Justicia, is in Singapore for talks with the reigning
S-League champions.
The 27-year-old is seen as a replacement for Macedonian Gligor Gligorov, whose contract has not been renewed by the Stags.
Wagner comes highly recommended and his wage demands are reasonable.
The Argentine has played for
Argentinian first division side Racing Club, who count World Cup winners
Ricardo Villa and Julio Olarticoechea, as well as Inter Milan's Diego
Milito, among their alumni.
