On-time Home United, Tampines Rovers and Hougang defender Shariff Abdul Samat have return to the S-league with Woodlands Wellington.
The 29-year-old had spend last season with Admiralty FC in the National Football League as he could not find a S-league team willing to take a chance on him.
There is no doubt on his football abilities but his reputation as a hot-tempered player is not a secret and it affected his career.
His last club Hougang United released him as he could not keep out of trouble with yellow and red and his chairman Bill Ng decided he was not worth the effort.
It is hoped the past year he will have reflected on him and he will focus more on football now.
