Balestier Khalsa have signed a new forward and he is Aussie Mark McGough.
The 23-year-old have been brought in to replace Brazilian Vitor Borges.
While the Brazilian have put in some decent performances upfront, unfortunately his failure to convert chances into goals on a regular basis is a killer for a club like Balestier.
The Toa Poyah club just do not have the luxury to keep a forward who scored only 7 goals in 50 games.
It is one goal every seven games and this season it is worse, if not as bad, as after two goals against Geylang United, he has only hit in one more goal in another ten games.
The Tigers need a forward to put the ball in the net like Rivaldo who they truly miss.
