Tigers defeat Beijing 1-0

Balestier Khalsa defeated Beijing Gouan (S) 1-0 to climb into the top three

Now that a shocker already - which is Balestier Khalsa position - but the way Beijing was outplayed show many how bad Home United, who were thrashed 1-4 by Beijing, are at the moment.

The Bishan, currently residing in Clementi, club was touted as one of the challenger of the S-league crown but now, they are closer to a Wooden Spoon position and tonight show how much they have to improve if they want to even overtake Balestier Khalsa.

The Tigers had only Ishak Zainol - ex-international - and Goh Swee Swee - ex-U23 international - who can be classified as quality players but they had played much better than the Protectors for much of this season.

Rivaldo Costa was once again the hero as he scored for the Tigers and his fitness will be the key to the Tigers season.

Balestier Khalsa

Joey Sim, Paul Cunningham, Daniel Hammond (C), K Vikraman , K Sathiaraj, Ishak Zainol, (Nurhilmi Jasni) Anantha Rajan, (Syafiq Zainal) Goh Swee Swee, Poh Yi Feng, (Kamal Nasir) Vitor Borges, Rivaldo Costa

With 5 games played right now and you saying Home United are wooden spoonist already? The reason why Beijing Guoan defeated Home United is because the Chinese are used to playing AF not neutral field. See their recent defeat at the hands of Tampines Rovers at Yishun std which is neutral field and ytd loss ti BKFC was not on AF but rather NF. Hope u get ur facts right before saying a team already wooden spoonist with 28games more to go dude.
