It was a night to remember for the Toa Poyah Tigers and the Malaysian Tigers as they both won their first game of the season.
Balestier Khalsa defeated Geylang International 1-0 to gain all 3 points and leave the Bedok club still with a point or goal.
As for Harimau Muda B, they played brilliantly against a Woodlands Wellington side who showed not just no imagination but also no appetite in a game the Rams were heavily backed to win.
Indeed the Malaysians were the far better side for the first half and deserved their lead given to them by their forward Maxsius Musa.
While Rams got back on level term in the second period thank to Khalid Hamdaoui they quickly lost it again as Yazid Zaini gave them the lead and all 3 points.
