Tampines go top while Warriors crashed again


Tampines Rovers go top of the S-league table as they won their fifth straight match of the season after they defeated Harimau Muda 2-1.

Aleksandar Duric and Shahdan Sulaiman got the goals for the champions. Harimau Muda managed an injury-time consolation through Akmal Ishak.

At the same time, Balestier Khalsa defeated Warriors FC 2-0 at Toa Poyah to send the eight-time champions to their third league defeat in five matches.

It also meant the Warriors dropped into the bottom 3 thanks to an inferior goal difference compared to Harimau Muda.

Ruhaizad Ismail and Park Kang-jin got the goals for Toa Poyah side.
